Our Home Farm

Cattle

We have a commercial herd of predominently Aberdeen Angus cattle on our home farm of Hepwell, Quethiock in East Cornwall.

We also contract farm a herd of organic pedigree South Devon suckler cows and a commercial herd of South Devon X Aberdeen Angus cows for RFT & LJ Halliday in and around the Lynher Valley in South East Cornwall. 

We took on the management of the herd in 2009, at which point there were twenty four cows. The herd now stands at over one hundred and twenty breeding cows with all followers reared to fat.

Fat stock are predominantly sold through CQLP (Cornish Quality Livestock Producers). We also sell beef directly to customers. Please see our Beef and Lamb page for more information.

Sheep

We have a flock of approximately 200 predominantly Lleyn and Romney type ewes at our home farm here in East Cornwall. We lamb in early April.

Most of our lambs are sold as fat through CQLP (Cornish Quality Livestock Producers) with some lambs sold directly to customers. Please see our Beef and Lamb page for more information.
