Educational Visits

We love to welcome school and educational groups to our farm, as we feel we have a lot to offer. As experienced educators with a passion for the great outdoors, we are well placed to accommodate you.  

What we can offer

We welcome a wide range of groups to our farm, from pre-schoolers to college and university students. We have hosted large groups as well as individuals for work experience opportunities.

We are able to offer a wide range of activities, all of which can be tailored to specific needs, or we are happy for self-led activities. Previously, school groups have participated in activites such as; farm tours, making milk and bottle feeding pet lambs, interviewing the farmer, scavenger hunts, maths based activities linked to farming and sports.

Facilities

On site we are able to offer a toilet and hand washing facilities, as well as a barn with bale seating as a base and a place to shelter from the unpredictable weather. We have farm risk assessments and insurance, and are able to assist with any additional requirements you may have.
